Senior Cinema Thursday at The Avalon

The Kensington Bethesda is proud to sponsor Senior Cinema Thursday at The Avalon Theater. On Thursday, June 18th, join us for a screening of the movie “Steal This Story, Please,” a documentary following the life of independent journalist Amy Goodman and her decades at the forefront of Democracy Now!

Senior Cinema Thursday is a monthly event where The Avalon screens one of our current features at a special discounted price for 62+ seniors held every third Thursday at 10:30am.

We invite senior communities and organizations to take advantage of the special $6 ticket price to bring groups to this program. The Avalon Theatre is wheelchair accessible and provides assisted listening devices to guests with hearing and visual impairments.
