Direct Care Training For New Team Members at Kensington Park

This is a 5 day, in-person, paid training for newly hired team members looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents, while also enriching their own professional journeys. Whether you aspire to become a nurse, healthcare administrator, or anything in between, our Direct Care Training will provide you with the skills you need to jumpstart your healthcare career.

Become a Care Partner and find your path, grow your purpose, and find a stronger sense of belonging. There’s something for everyone and there’s room to grow!

Schedule Availability: Full-Time/ Part-Time/ PRN

What is Direct Care Training?

  1. Paid training from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

  2. Certificate program led by Brenda Pollock, Community Nursing Support, RN.

  3. Open to newly hired Care Partners – PCA, HHA, CNA not required.

What You’ll Gain:

  1. Hands-on experience caring for residents and assisting with ADLs

  2. Dementia skills training with Certified Dementia Practitioners

  3. Professional mentorship from our Director of Nursing (RN), Neighborhood Managers, and 24/7 Nursing Team

  4. Direct Care Certificate

  5. A Full-Time or Part-Time position as a Care Partner with long-term growth opportunities

  4. Graduate and begin your career as a Care Partner at Kensington Senior Living.
